Hunter Capital Real Estate is a Boston-based real estate investment company focusing on acquiring and repositioning multi-family houses and apartment buildings in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts, area. We have grown our portfolio to over 500 units in the last 5 years and are looking to increase it further in the coming years. Hunter Capital Real Estate prides itself on following a diligent screening approach to all our acquisitions, making sure that we are purchasing properties with good initial value quality tenants and a strong potential for an increase in value over the long term. We believe in providing our tenants with quality housing and management services so they will enjoy comfortable and above-average living conditions, motivating them to stay in our apartments for the long term. Hunter Capital Real Estate is also committed to improving our properties to make them more environmentally friendly, taking advantage of the latest trends in natural energy and other “green” initiatives. While we are looking to achieve long-term returns for our investors, we prioritize providing attractive quality housing for our tenants, delivering superior tenant management services, and implementing upgrades to our buildings when possible.

Team Members

RALPH JAEGER

Founder / CEO

Ralph has over 20 years of experience as a private equity investor and portfolio manager in the US, Europe, and across Emerging Markets. He created the original property portfolio between 2013-2018 and then launched an independent investment fund to acquire multi-family properties in Greater Boston. He studied economics and business administration at Middlesex University (UK), Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), and the European School of Business (Germany).

KYLE LANGNER

Managing Director

Kyle has over 15 years of experience as a controller and accountant in Real Estate / Asset Management. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Masters of Science in Accounting, and he also holds a designation as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

JENNIFER W. OGLE

Senior VP Business Management

Jennifer has more than 35 years of experience in real estate, including insurance, title abstracting project management, and mortgage lending. She graduated with honors from Thomas Jefferson University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

DENISE MOYNIHAN, ESQ.

Legal Counsel

Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1994. Denise graduated magna cum laude from Bradford College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy. In 1994 she received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. She has been representing real estate buyers, sellers, and development clients for over twenty-five years.

Paulo Brenninkmeijer

Analyst

Paulo comes from a diverse background speaking three languages and having attended boarding school in the UK. He studied Business Management at Endicott Collage in the US.

LAURENCE (LARRY) TAMKIN

Broker - Advisory Capacity

Laurence leads the acquisitions and occasional disposition of properties for Hunter Capital. He has over 30 years of experience in multi-family, sales, rentals, management, and rehab. He is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Boston College, cum laude
